A downloadable game

A micro-RPG about waiting for Godot a traffic light to change.

This game is for 2-4 players, though I suppose you could play it alone and just talk to yourself in the car. We've all done that. Gametime runs 1+ minutes, depending on how faulty your d20 is or how bad your luck is.

This game was inspired by my friends Carolyn and Michael. They had sent me a video message from their car after a trip to shop for a new mattress. For the duration of the entire five minute video, they were stuck at a single light waiting for the green left arrow. Everyday conversation about mattress options and salespeople became increasingly tense and fraught, peppered with occasional Pinteresque or Beckettian interjections of
"No, I don't know why it hasn't changed it!" and
"It skipped us again!" and
"We should just turn around." "I can't now!"

Now you too can experience this suburban existentialism!

Game files include a full-color 300dpi 4x6 illustration PDF of the game rules and a text-only PDF of the rules.

This game was made for the 48-Word RPG Jam.
